Our industrial-strength frames are constructed with 11-gauge steel to support a fully loaded cabinet along with a chest or hutch and side cabinets. Plus, our standard 6”x2” casters hold up to 900 lbs. each, or you can upgrade to spring-loaded casters that hold up to 1,250 lbs. apiece.

Our drawers are built to handle whatever you load in them, too. Not only do we use heavy-gauged powder-coated steel, but our engineers developed a patented design that gives them their super strength. Each drawer is constructed with a double steel wall drawer front, double channel spot-welded support brackets under the drawer, and a specially designed back panel that makes each drawer extremely rigid and strong. No sagging, warping or flexing because they are “Built to the Extreme®.”

The drawers are only as good as the slides that support them. Our team created an exclusive double-slide system that improves drawer stability. Even if they are loaded with the maximum 600 lbs. (double slides,) the drawers will still operate smoothly. Plus, this system has been devised to be modular so that the drawer configuration can be easily rotated to suit your needs.

Safety and security are always considerations in the development of a tool box. From drawer pulls to latching systems to locking your valuables, we have you covered. The EX Professional Series is available with your choice of drawer pulls. We offer a traditional drawer pull that uses detents, or we offer our patented, Professional Quick Release, secure self-latching drawer pull. The Quick Release drawer pull is fastened across the front of the drawer for a sturdy feel and uses heavy-duty latches on the sides of the drawer. This rugged yet sleek design never pulls away from the drawer front and allows you to open the drawer with one hand.

Especially if you are on the job, keeping your personal items and tools safe is a concern. Therefore, a locking security drawer is included in the roller cabinet so your valuables will remain safe whether your box is locked or not. To increase security even more, the patented drawer latch assembly is constructed with a self-adjusting spring lever that adjusts so the latch does not wear out over time and keeps the drawers closed. To keep your tools safe, this series uses a secure tubular, coded lock and keys. The lock bar assembly uses a single cylinder lock design so that accessing your tools is quick and easy.

A super strong tool box also needs to look good, so we took care of those details, too! There are no visible spot welds on the drawer fronts, hutch or side cabinet. This means you get a smooth, clean, professional look. We use a specially formulated AkzoNobel powder-coat finish to provide a flawless, high gloss exterior that resists chemicals, scratches and stains. Plus, we use the highest quality extruded, anodized, polished aluminum for drawer pulls that resist oxidation and give the tool box a professional look.

To complete the smart, clean look of the EX Professional Series, we went the extra mile in finishing features. The roller cabinets and hutches come standard with built-in, high quality 304 grade stainless steel work surfaces. The Extreme Power Workstation® hutches also have an adjustable stainless-steel shelf with a built-in power strip, and they come fully assembled with all welded seams.

The full EX Professional Series set up includes side lockers. Extreme Tools® side lockers provide the extra storage you want. They have four drawers that use the same heavy-duty slides as the roller cabinet plus two adjustable, pull-out shelves with slides. To achieve the eye-catching professional look that stands out, Extreme Tools® engineers created an “extreme” mounting bracket that attaches under the roller cabinet and the side cabinet. This bracket is so strong that there is no need for unsightly, additional casters.
