Therefore, we build our frames to be a strong and solid foundation for our cabinets. The RX Series uses heavy-duty, powder-coated 12/14-gauge steel construction to build our frames. Then, we install heavy-duty casters that can hold up to 900 lbs. each so you can load up the roller cabinet and know that it can handle all that weight.
The engineering team paid attention to the details when designing and patenting the RX Series Quick Release self-latching drawers pulls. These full-width drawer pulls are made from the highest quality polished, extruded anodized aluminum and come in a variety of colors. Extreme Tools® patented design allows you to easily and conveniently open the drawer with only one hand from any place on the drawer pull. Our unique design secures the drawer pull across the entire width of the drawer - not just on the ends. This makes it stronger, sturdier, and more secure.

- Tool boxes need to not just look good, but be eye-catching! So, we use a specially formulated AkzoNobel high gloss powder finish in a variety of color combinations to suit your style.
- 72” and 55” wide cabinets have extra deep and 3 extra-wide drawers to accommodate long, large or bulky tools – we tried to give you a place to store just about everything.
- Choose the drawer load capacity that suits your needs: 100-200 lbs., 150-300 lbs. or 250-500 lbs. per drawer.
- Full-extension ball bearing slides on each drawer with structural support behind the drawers prevent them from overshooting the back of the slides.
- Added internal support under the long drawers provides strength and rigidity while also preventing warping or twisting.
- Extreme Tools® boxes are manufactured with a higher number of spot welds, plug welds, and robotic laser welds which provide consistent reliability and durability for long-lasting quality.

Extreme Tools® engineering goes beyond our roller cabinets. We have also patented Extreme Power Workstation® hutches which are one of the most popular add-on pieces that we offer. The RX Series hutches feature a matching, adjustable powder coated steel shelf which has laser cut openings that allow you to organize and store a variety of small hand tools. We have also included a 3-outlet power strip with 2 USB ports so you can work without a tangle of extension cords getting in the way. When you are done for the day, you can lock it up and leave your tools charging so they are ready to go when you return. The sides of the hutch are constructed from heavy duty steel peg board which has the same high quality AkzoNobel powder coat finish as the roller cabinets. There is loads of space for hanging tools to keep your workspace clean. Plus, the shelf has been engineered to hang accessories such as the power tool rack, socket holder or media/tech holder with charging pad. These convenient accessories keep tools organized and within easy reach.

The RX Professional Series product line includes more than just roller cabinets and hutches. The 72” and 55” models offer top chests and side lockers. A side box is also available for some models. The 41” RX model also offers a top chest as well.

To make this series one of the best that money can buy, we also took care to provide those extras that add up to make a big difference. All the finishes are a specially formulated AkzoNobel powder coat specifically designed to resist chemicals, scratches and stains. We only use the highest quality, cold-roller extruded, polished, color-anodized aluminum drawers so you never have to worry about oxidation or yellowing. We always include PVC drawer liners and a PVC laminated MDF work surface to protect the top of your tool box. We also offer 72” and 55” optional stainless-steel work surfaces made from professional quality 304 grade stainless steel. Finally, when it comes time to lock it up, all the tool boxes come standard with secure, tubular, coded locks with 2 keys. We know how important all the details are!
